Learning Objective: Students will identify kitchen tools by their function.
Materials Needed: Kitchen Tool worksheet, braille writer and paper; kitchen tools found in your kitchen. (Worksheet will be e-mailed to you). Students will increase their independent living skills.
Activity: Read “Kitchen Tool” worksheet. Using the Word Bank at the end of the worksheet, pick the name of the kitchen tool that matches the function.
Look for these kitchen tools in your kitchen at home. Keep working on your independent living skills by completing chores at home.

Learning Objective: Students will demonstrate understanding of food safety techniques.
Materials Needed: Food Safety Word Challenge worksheet/ braille writer and paper
