Learning Objective 2: listen to the true story of how a blind man and his guide dog escaped the World Trade Center on the day it was attacked by terrorists on September 11, 2001.

Learning Objective 4: learn about having and working with a dog guide. Listen to this webinar entitled, “Is a Guide Dog For Me?”, presented by the Hadley School for the Blind. Note: The Hadley School for the Blind’s distance education course on Guide Dogs is currently not available, but may be available in the near future as several of their courses are being rewritten/updated. You’ll learn that good O&M skills are needed even if you have a dog guide, and that typically students have completed high school before they get a dog
